Dylan and Bastille team up for new track ‘Liar, Liar’

DYLAN has shared her latest single ‘Liar, Liar’, featuring the distinctive vocals of Bastille’s Dan Smith. Marking a new era for the budding pop artist, the track employs swelling strings and electronic touches before bursting into an upbeat, widescreen chorus.

Having met Dan whilst supporting Bastille on a recent tour, their collaboration came about during some time spent writing in Suffolk. Of the track, DYLAN says: “The song is about deception from someone that you put your full trust in. When it came to recording the vocals, I very sheepishly suggested Dan recorded the second verse, just in case he wanted to be part of it, which luckily he ended up doing! Normally songs take huge amounts of time to see the light of day, but this one managed to slip through the cracks very quickly, with one of my favourite artists being a part of it.”
