Eagles of Death Metal are set to score ‘Super Troopers 2’

A couple of weeks ago, it was revealed that Josh Homme had provided the score of Faith Akin’s new film ‘In The Fade’ – and yep, that’s a cheeky Queens of the Stone Age reference right there. Now, Eagles of Death Metal are set to deliver their own soundtrack, this time for ‘Super Troopers 2’. As reported by Film Music Reporter, it’s being directed by Jay Chandrasekhar who was also at the helm of the original ‘Super Troopers’ way back in 2001. No details of the plot are yet known, but the original followed five Vermont state troopers who try to save their jobs by outdoing the local police department and solving a crime. With a lot of pranks and messing everything up along the way. So, expect more hijinks in the comedy sequel then! It’s expected to be released later this year.
