Eagles of Death Metal reschedule European tour, set to play Reading & Leeds 2016

Eagles of Death Metal have confirmed plans to return to Europe in 2016, to complete their previously-postponed European tour.

The band - who were forced to reschedule the remaining dates of their recent tour after the terrorist attacks on Le Bataclan in Paris, France on 13th November - will be returning to our side of the Atlantic to play twenty three shows throughout February, March and August 2016.

Their new tour - The Nos Amis Tour - will also see them return to Paris, where they’ll be appearing at The Olympia. Any fans who were at the Bataclan show will be entitled to a free ticket for the new Paris date on 16th February - they must contact their original supplier between 5th and 20th January to claim their new ticket.

Speaking of their return to the city, the band’s Jesse Hughes has said: “The people of Paris have always been incredible to us, and our feeling of love towards this beautiful city and its people has been reinforced a million times over this past month. Hearing the stories of the survivors, the injured and those who have lost loved ones has been overwhelming. Not returning to finish our set was never an option. We look forward to coming back in February and continuing our mission to bring rock ‘n’ roll to the world.”

The band will also be joining the line-up for next year’s Reading & Leeds festivals, which has already confirmed the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Hinds and Rat Boy. That takes place from 26th to 28th August 2016.
