Enter Shikari Could Score First UK Number One
The St. Albans group are currently outselling the rest of the top ten.
Enter Shikari released their third album ‘A Flash Flood of Colour’ yesterday, and today, the Official Charts Company have revealed the band may be on course for the Number 1 slot.
It looks as though the St. Albans four piece are currently outselling the rest of the top ten, placing them in the running for their first ever Number 1.
Bassist Chris Batten told www.theofficialcharts.com: “We never expected to be anywhere near the charts. Especially as we came up playing our own shows and started our own label.”
The band’s last effort, 2009’s ‘Common Dreads’, entered the charts at Number 16.
‘A Flash Flood of Colour’ was released yesterday on the band’s own label Ambush Reality. You can read our review later on today.
