Este Haim and Hozier cover The Time’s ‘Jungle Love’ at Coachella
Este joined the saucy warbler onstage for a performance of the Prince associates’ 1984 hit.
Yesterday at California’s Coachella festival, Hozier invited Este Haim on stage, and the pair performed a cover of ‘Jungle Love’. It was originally released in 1984 by The Time - a pop-funk ensemble first assembled by Prince - and it was one of their biggest selling hits.
Hozier played a 50-minute set at Coachella, finishing up with one of his own biggest hits ‘Take Me To The Church,’ along with newest song ‘Work Song’.
Surprise guests have been something of a theme this year at Coachella. Elsewhere across the festival, Zack De Rocha and Travis Barker joined Run the Jewels on-stage, Todd Terje appeared with Bryan Ferry, and Marina and the Diamonds debuted a new song, ‘Disconnect’ with Clean Bandit.
Watch a clip of Hozier and Este Haim’s cover of ‘Jungle Love’ in a clip below, captured by a fan.
