‘The Invitation To The Voyage’ will be released on June 25th via Domino, and is set to include previously released singles ‘Thunderbolt’ and ‘Lion’.

Speaking to DIY about the record, McGuinness explains: ‘I wanted it to be a modern record. I didn’t want it to just be a rock and roll record. I didn’t want it to be a weird Shoreditch geezer-y thing. It took a while to realise what that sort of sound was going to be, but that was about embracing all of the things that are around at the moment, without making it be modern for the sake of being modern.’
