Ezra Furman shares ‘Body Was Made’ video
New album ‘Perpetual Motion People’ is out now.
Ezra Furman has unveiled a glitter-filled video for ‘Body Was Made’, the latest single from his ‘Perpetual Motion People’ album.
Directed by Anika Mottershaw, the clip features cameos from fellow Bella Union alumni Landshapes and members of Peggy Sue. The director says: “We wanted the video to feel goofy and fun. It was fun making it with our friends, and we hope that comes across,” while Furman says the song itself is a protest “against the people and forces that would make me ashamed of my body, my gender and my sexuality.”
