Fire Records To Reissue First Three Pulp Albums
Fire Records will be re-releasing the classic albums ‘It’, ‘Freaks’ and ‘Separations’.

As part of their Embers series, Fire Records will be reissuing the first three albums to come from awkward pop darlings Pulp.
The first three albums of the band’s career - ‘It’ ‘Freaks’ and ‘Separations’ - will come newly re-mastered and beautifully repackaged, complete with additional bonus material and brand new liner-notes by Everett True.
Exploring everything from the more acoustic-driven delicacy of their debut ‘It’, to the moody ‘Freaks’, before cumulating with a record that made the band what they are today in ‘Separations’.
Below, you can get a taste of a track from each of the albums, with more information about which each re-release includes.
‘Blue Girls’ from Fire’s reissue of Pulp’s 1983 debut ‘It’, featuring four bonus tracks including the single version of ‘My Lighthouse’, an alternative mix of ‘Blue Girls’, as well as the previously unreleased ‘Sink Or Swim’ and ‘Please Don’t Worry’ from Pulp’s John Peel session in 1981.
‘Little Girl (with Blue Eyes)’ from Fire’s reissue of Pulp’s second album, ‘Freaks’. It come complete with a second bonus disc comprising of tracks from the two big non-album singles from the same era, ‘Little Girl (With Blue Eyes)’ and ‘Dogs are Everywhere’. Two further b-sides ‘Tunnel’ and ‘Manon’ complete the second disc for the definitive ‘Freaks’ period release.
‘My Legendary Girlfriend’ from Fire’s reissue of Pulp’s third album, ‘Separations’, which includes four bonus tracks, including ‘Death Goes To The Disco’, ‘Is This House’, as well as an extended version of the single ‘Countdown’ and the previously unreleased ‘Death Comes To Town’.
