FKA twigs documentary to air on BBC Four
‘Soundtrack 7’, aired Sunday 27th November, was filmed during her Manchester International Festival residency.

Earlier this year, FKA twigs explored conceptual art, dance and poetry during a week-long residency at Manchester International Festival. Named ‘Soundtrack 7’, the experience has been documented for a new one-off show on BBC Four, airing 11.30pm GMT on Sunday 27th November.
According to the BBC, ‘Soundtrack 7’ will include performances of ‘How’s That’, ‘Good to Love’ and ‘Ultraviolet’. Twigs herself describes the project as “flesh, sweat, feeling, muscle, and a live movement, no air brushing, no frills.” This looks to be a separate film to the 52-minute piece that aired at Brooklyn Academy of Music, back in August.
Last month, FKA twigs unveiled another residency, ‘Rooms’. The project saw her exploring horror flicks and astrology alongside other artists.
Her most recent release is last year’s ‘M3LL155X’ EP, followed by this year’s ‘Good to Love’ single.
