Fleetwood Mac add fifth O2 Arena, London date to UK tour
The tour, which begins in the capital in May, will work its way across thirteen dates in the UK.
After the majority of tickets for their planned run of dates for the ‘On With The Show Tour’ sold out in minutes, Fleetwood Mac have extended their live stint to include a fifth night at London’s O2 Arena. The new date, on Friday 26th June, will be performed in the same week as two other shows at the London venue.
The tour, which begins in the capital in May, will work its way across thirteen dates in the UK (plus three in mainland Europe) before culminating in Manchester in early July. Marking the return of singer and keyboardist Christine McVie to the Fleetwood fold after sixteen years away, next summer’s string of shows will come hot on the heels of the band’s exhaustive 68-gig jaunt around North America.
More popular than ever, the forced expansion of next year’s tour points to the enduring legacy of the band’s work and comes amidst rumours of a forthcoming eighteenth studio album.
