Fleetwood Mac have announced a clutch of US dates next year, when they will hit the road for the first time in three years, with European dates expected to follow.
The band, who were almost as famous for their tempestuous inter-band relationships told Rolling Stone that although they’re going to play the hits, they’re hoping to pull out some of the lesser known numbers. ‘Maybe we’ll play more songs from ‘Tusk’. I’d also like to see an extended middle portion of the show that’s just me and Stevie [Nicks]. This is just me talking from the top of my head,” Lindsey Buckingham told the American magazine.
The tour itself seemed unlikely earlier in the year, when in April, drummer Mick Fleetwood told Playboy magazine that he doubted Fleetwood Mac would ever reunite for a tour, blaming Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham for delays due to solo projects.
Fleetwood Mac’s current line up includes Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
