Florence + the Machine announces Governors Ball headline and huge North American tour
She’ll be joined by a massive supporting cast including Christine & the Queens and Blood Orange.
Florence + the Machine have announced some huge US dates for the summer, including a headline slot at New York’s Governors Ball.
Following the release of last year’s Mercury Prize-nominated ‘High As Hope’, our Flo will be heading across the Atlantic in May and June for a 17-date run, and she’s got a host of high-profile pals along with her.
Joining her for the first dates will be Perfume Genius, who’ll then handover to Christine and the Queens, before Blood Orange and Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats finish the run. Not bad at all.
Florence joins an already-big-hitting line up for Gov Ball, which takes place in the city’s Randall’s Island Park between 31st May and 2nd June. The Strokes, The 1975 and Tyler, the Creator are all set to play, with more artists TBA.
