Florence + The Machine on course for #1 album with ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’
Jamie xx’s ‘In Colour’ is also set to finish in the top five, according to Official Charts figures.
Florence + The Machine’s third album ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’ is set to go straight to #1, according to midweek figures from the Official Charts Company.
This week’s top five albums consists entirely of new entries. Jamie xx’s debut solo album ‘In Colour’ is currently at #3, while Slaves, Simply Red and Collabro make up the rest of the top five, pushing out chart staples Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.
Other new entries include The Darkness with fourth album ‘Last of Our Kind’ (#6) and SOAK’s debut album ‘Before We Forgot How to Dream’, at #25. Major Lazer’s ‘Peace is the Mission’ is just about, landing at #20.
In the Official Singles Chart, Natalie La Rose ft. Jeremih’s ‘Somebody’ is currently at #1. Jason Derulo, OMI, Lawson and Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar make up the rest of the top five.
