Fontaines DC share ‘Too Real’ and new tour dates
The Dublin punks are off on a headline tour around shows with Shame and IDLES.
Irish punks Fontaines DC are about to head around the UK in support of Shame, and they’re toasting the run of dates with a new single.
‘Too Real’ is a ferocious cut which comes along with its own video, described by director Hugh Mulhern as “low-brow visuals inspired by Buster Keaton, James Joyce, The Dubliners and Jim Henson to discuss high- brow ramblings of some stout swilling stereotypes.”
The band’s tour with Shame begins this week in Bristol - they’ll tour the UK with the band, before playing a handful of November/December headline shows (including a slot at DIY’s First Fifty showcase at The Macbeth in London).
They’ve also just announced new UK and European headline dates for early next year, before they head to the States in support of IDLES.
They’re busy boys, these lot - watch the ‘Too Real’ video and view all their tour dates below.
