Four Tet, Caribou and Floating Points share NTS Radio show

The show featured an exclusive play of a Floating Points and James Holden collaboration.

Old pals Four Tet, Caribou and Floating Points have shared their recent NTS radio show, which brought a typically global selection to the NTS airwaves as well as featuring an exclusive Floating Points and James Holden collaboration.

The collaboration in question can be heard from the twenty-two minute mark. It’s the first airing of the track ‘Mahaba’, which was recorded in Morocco with musician Maalem Mahmoud Guinea.

The track was previewed in a recent lecture for Red Bull Music Academy lecture, in which Floating Points described how the track had to be recorded outside “because everything is tiled in Morocco… You can actually hear the birds.” Advance copies can be purchased from the Independent Label Market in Spitalfields, London, this Saturday, with the global release date to follow on April 20th.

The show went out on Monday, and can be streamed via Mixcloud below. Listen back to Floating Points and Four Tet’s mammoth set from the last night at Plastic People here.
