Four Tet shares new album ‘Morning/Evening’
Keiran Hebden streams his new release early ‘to celebrate the summer solstice”.
Four Tet has shared his new album, ‘Morning/Evening’, three weeks ahead of the album’s previously scheduled release date.
Kieran Hebden’s follow-up to 2013’s ‘Beautiful Remind’ is now streaming on Bandcamp, “to celebrate the summer solstice.” The two-song, 40-minute release is out of Hebden’s own label Text Records, with a physical edition out on 10th July.
The album’s Bandcamp description says that Four Tet recorded ‘Morning/Evening’ between August 2014 and February 2015. “This music was created on a laptop computer using the Ableton Live software to control and mix VST synthesisers and manipulations of found audio recordings,” the note adds.
