Listen: Four Tet To Release New Album Today, ‘0181’
Four Tet announced the news on Twitter this morning, then put the release on SoundCloud.
Four Tet has announced on Twitter this morning that he’s to release a brand new album today (15th January), the follow up to 2012’s ‘Pink’.
Alongside the simple message ‘I am going to release a new Four Tet LP today,’ Kieran Hebden has also revealed that there will be a vinyl version and that the artwork was created by Welsh artist Jason Evans, who’s previously worked with Caribou, Radiohead, Wild Beasts and Simian Mobile Disco, amongst others.
It’s all a bit cryptic at the moment, but the description uploaded with the mix - titled ‘0181’, you can hear it below - suggests it may well be a compilation of decade-old material: ‘Produced by Kieran Hebden between 1997 and 2001, Compiled 2012.’
