Four Tet unveils new cover of 1982 Don Cherry and Ed Blackwell song ‘Makondi’
Track sees him collaborating with UK percussionist Emanative.
Following on from his latest album release (under the Percussions moniker), Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet has unveiled another new track, ‘Makondi’.
The new number sees him collaborating with UK percussionist Nick Woodmansey aka Emanative, in a free-flowing cover of Don Cherry and Ed Blackwell’s original track from 1982. Hebden plays the thumb piano, and this new track reflects the diverse nature of his DJ sets - one of the most recent being his closing show at London show Plastic People.
