Francisco the Man get wrapped up in envy for ‘It’s Not Your Fault’ video

Pity the director of Francisco the Man’s new video. For ‘It’s Not Your Fault’, apparently he decided to coin his own tale, based around real life experiences - namely, the past twelve months of his existence.

That’s a little weird, especially given what’s going on in this new video, debuting on DIY. It begins with a crush, before escalating into something that goes way beyond liking the girl in your Yearbook photos. A guy starts a band just to impress his crush, and things go crazy from there, concluding in a self-destructing, topless tale of ‘don’t try this at home’.

So there you go - director Alec Nicholas, everything is going to be ok. Don’t do anything irrational. Just keep calm.

‘It’s Not Your Fault’ is taken from a debut Francisco the Man LP - ‘Loose Ends’ is out 19th January 2015 on Fat Possum.
