Frank Iero cancels all 2016 tour dates following “serious” tour van crash
All of the band’s upcoming shows this year are affected.
Following a serious traffic incident last week, Frank Iero and his band The Patience have cancelled their remaining tour dates in 2016 due to “due to the severity of injuries sustained in Australia.”
A bus crashed into the back of Iero’s tour van at Twitter’s Australian headquarters in Sydney. Iero escaped the collision “in a state of shock” but physically unharmed, but two of his bandmates underwent surgery following the accident.
Refunds for the band’s remaining dates are available at the point of purchase. All shows - including a run of shows in the States - are affected.
Frank Iero and The Patience’s new album ‘Parachutes’ is due out on October 28th.
