Frank Ocean has reportedly already made $1 million from ‘Blonde’
So says business magazine Forbes.
It was revealed last month that Frank Ocean ended up self-releasing new album ‘Blonde’ after visual album ‘Endless’ completed his contract with label Def Jam, and this strategy has - in no uncertain terms - seen him absolutely rake it in.
US business magazine Forbes have reported that Ocean has already made $1 million from the album, which was released on 20th August.
‘Blonde’ gave Frank Ocean his first UK number one last week, and despite his healthy income, has reportedly been illegally downloaded over 750,000 times.
