Frank Ocean is headlining Parklife 2017
He’s the first confirmed act for the Manchester festival.
It’s been revealed that Frank Ocean will be headlining this year’s Parklife Festival in Manchester.
The news was broken on Nick Grimshaw’s BBC Radio 1 breakfast show, confirming that the R&B star would be bringing his latest album ‘Blonde’ to the event. It’s not a total surprise – Frank’s ‘Nikes’ was the inspiration behind Parklife’s teaser campaign, hinting that he’d be appearing at the event. In case you missed it, he’s also set to play at Lovebox on 14th July, a London festival exclusive.
More acts for the festival will be announced soon.
Parklife takes place between 10th-11th June at Heaton Park, Manchester. Tickets go on general sale from 9am on Thursday 2nd February. Watch Frank’s video for ‘Nikes’ below.
