Franz Ferdinand share a new video for ‘Always Ascending’
The track comes from the album of the same name, out in February.
Back in October, Franz Ferdinand revealed that the follow-up to their last album ‘Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action’ (and indeed ‘FFS’) would be out in February.
They also revealed the title track of the record, ‘Always Ascending’, which now has a new clip directed by the duo AB/CD/CD. And yep, there’s a fair bit of ascending going on. The camera continually lifts up to witness the band playing against various green screens, and Alex Kapranos pulling a few shapes.
When announcing the LP, the band also revealed details of a UK and Ireland tour that’ll take them from Galway to Brighton and many places in-between in February. Tickets are on sale now.
