Franz Ferdinand have us ‘Hooked’ with dance-punk new single
The band’s latest studio album, ‘The Human Fear’, lands this Friday.
Franz Ferdinand have kicked the door down on 2025 with the release of new single ‘Hooked’, our final preview of their forthcoming album ‘The Human Fear’ before its arrival this Friday (10th January).
A glitchy yet propulsive slice of irresistible dance-punk, the new track follows recent cuts ‘Audacious’ and ‘Night Or Day’, continuing to tease a project that finds Franz inhabiting a fresh, fun, unapologetically pop-oriented space.
The first Franz project to feature new members Audrey Tait and Dino Bardot, ‘The Human Fear’ is also arguably the band’s most collaborative to date, having had Julian Corrie work with Alex Kapranos and Bob Hardy in the writing room.
