Franz Ferdinand are to play a tiny gig in Glasgow tomorrow (5th March).
Announced via host venue Nice N Sleazy’s Facebook page yesterday, tickets were only available over the bar from 1pm. Unsurprisingly, they sold out within twenty minutes of going on sale.
Just last week, frontman Alex Kapranos revealed that Veronica Falls vocalist Roxanne Clifford appears on the band’s forthcoming fourth studio album, the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’.
The band will headline the 126-capacity venue tomorrow night. It follows November’s equally tiny appearance, where they playedthe city’s Mono to celebrate its tenth birthday.
Franz Ferdinand are due to appear at this year’s Bestival, as well as Coachella in the US, and the South American Lollapalooza events.
The band’s new album is expected to be released later this year.
