Fred again.. teams up with Obongjayar for new track ‘adore u’
It’s the latest offering from the 2023 Mercury Prize-shortlisted artist.

Following on from his recent set at this year’s Glastonbury festival, Fred again.. has offered up a new track featuring Obongjayar.
Dedicated to Fred’s sister, ‘adore u’ sees the producer sample lyrics from Obongjayar’s 2022 debut album ‘Some Nights I Dream Of Doors’, and saw the pair team up for a live performance last week at Fred again..’s Lollapalooza set in Chicago.
The track follows on from last year’s album ‘Actual Life 3’, which was recently shortlisted for the 2023 Mercury Prize with FREE NOW; it also lands ahead of Fred again..’s upcoming residency at London’s Alexandra Palace, which kicks off early next month.
Check out ‘adore u’ and remind yourself of his upcoming UK and European live shows below.
