Gengahr unveil new video for ‘Bathed In Light’

Gengahr are airing a new video for ‘Bathed in Light’, one half of their new single via Transgressive Records.

Meeting up with ‘Powder’, their new clip comes directed by Ruben Woodin Dechamps and Oscar Hudson. Channelling The Truman Show, Castaway and The Road in one gloomy cinematic combination, the new video can be seen below.

Frontman Felix Bushe says the video “depicts the constant struggle of an individual trying his best to make do with what little is left for him by the world.

“We wanted to create a location and setting that wasn’t restricted to the confinement of reality. The protagonist is not necessary a real person but more of an idea or metaphor, his ghost-like existence and endless torment is something everyone can probably relate to.”

Gengahr’s next UK show is with The Maccabees at Liverpool Academy, 17th November.
