Glastonbury Merch Watch: Metallica fight back, Kasabian don’t know what day it is
Who said being in a band was ‘Eez-eh’, eh?

Festival merch isn’t always news, but this weekend at Glastonbury it seems to be making a grab for its fair share of column inches.
First up are Metallica, who used the medium of the t-shirt to poke fun at their recent critics. Featuring quotes from Arctic Monkeys’ frontman Alex Turner, Mogwai, Judas Priest, Jarvis Cocker and The Guardian, the negative comments towards the band’s booking have been immortalised in the form official merchandise.
Slightly less intentional is Kasabian’s take on the festival shirt. Headlining Glastonbury tonight (Sunday 29th June), they appear to have got a bit muddled about what day it is before sending to the printers. You can see it on their website too. Who said being in a band was ‘Eez-eh’, eh?
