HAIM and Weezer to form supergroups for Jimmy Kimmel performance

HAIM and Weezer are among a number of bands set to form supergroups for a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The new show, entitled ‘Mash Up Mondays’, is set to be aired on three successive Mondays in February, with two bands merging for each show.

On the 2nd February, Weezer and ZZ-Top become ‘Wee-Z Top’, on the 9th HAIM and Morris Day & The Time form ‘Morris Day & The HAIM’, and finally on the 16th, Aloe Blacc and Blackstreet become ‘Aloe Blaccstreet’.

HAIM are currently at work on their second studio album, the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Days Are Gone’.

In the spirit of weird things happening on Jimmy Kimmel Live, watch Blood Orange’s choreographed performance of ‘It Is What It Is’ on the show back in October below.
