Haim take on Selena Gomez’s ‘Bad Liar’ in the Live Lounge
Their version features coffee cups, and a lot of “DIY percussion”. Cheers for the shout-out, pals!
Current DIY cover stars Haim put out their second album ‘Something To Tell You’ last week, and keeping the party going, the sisters popped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to put their own spin on Selena Gomez’s certified pop banger ‘Bad Liar’.
With the help of lots of carefully tuned coffee cups and other bits of “DIY percussion” (cheers for the shout-out, pals!) Haim put their own synthy spin on the Talking Heads-sampling track. Asked whether they might add it to Haim sets in future, the answer was a firm “yes!”
Read DIY’s cover feature with Haim here, taken from the July 2017 issue.
Haim take on ‘Bad Liar’ here around the 02:19:00 mark. Preview that percussion set-up below.
