HAIM’s Este Haim Taken Ill During Glastonbury Set
Bassist is reported to have been affected by diabetes during the set.

One third of LA trio HAIM - bassist Este Haim - fell ill during her band’s Pyramid Stage set at this year’s Glastonbury fest.
The issues were linked with diabetes, Este falling unwell in the middle of the set. She’s since fully recovered, declaring today to be ‘the best day of my life’.
During the performance, Este is said to have sat down, playing the remainder of the performance on a stool, opting out of the awesome bass faces by taking a more subdued turn.
‘Sometimes diabetes gets the better of you,’ Este declared following the performance.
During the set, she said to the crowd: ‘I’m not going to let this get the better of me, especially when there are so many beautiful people here. If I pass out, will someone give me mouth to mouth.’
HAIM play Glastonbury’s Park Stage tomorrow. They’re currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album.
