HalfNoise shares a new video for ‘Scooby’s In The Back’

Zac Farro released ‘The Velvet Face’ earlier in the year.

Just as a little recap, Paramore have been having a frankly ace year, having released their new album ‘After Laughter’ and welcoming back drummer Zac Farro.

But as well as reuniting with the rest of the band, Zac’s also been busy with his HalfNoise project, releasing his EP ‘The Velvet Face’ earlier in the year. Now he’s got a new video for one of its tracks, ‘Scooby’s In The Back’. There’s no Scooby Doo here but instead it’s a trip to the beach through the medium of vintage, and archival footage.

Speaking to Noisey, Zac said of the video: “The entire The Velvet Face EP to me was intended to feel like those older records like Pet Sounds and Rubber Soul […] so I wanted the video to match that. That Beach Boys-y, trippy feel was exactly what I was going for. I came across this amazing footage of New Zealand in the 70s, all shot on 16mm film, and I couldn’t see the video being anything besides that footage. I felt like I found gold”.
