In full bloom
Hare Squead are in full colour in the video for ‘Flowers’
The Irish hip hop trio deliver a clip filled with vibrancy.
A couple of weeks ago, Irish hip-hop trio Hare Squead dropped their latest single ‘Flowers’, a new cut from their ‘Season 2’ EP that married classic R&B vibes and joyous piano with complex, tempo-switching bars.
Now Lilo Blues, Tony Konstone and Jessy Rose have a new video for the track, directed by Kaz Ove. It starts off quite unassumingly, with the trio hanging out in a white room. Soon though, things turn into an explosion of colour. Using technicoloured and transposed images of blooming flowers across the top of the band as they perform, it’s a visual treat that reflects the vibrancy of the song itself.
Hare Squead will also be playing a debut headline show in London! They’ll be playing at Birthdays in Dalston on 26th July (that’s next week!), and tickets for the show are on sale now.
