Harry Styles to curate the Southbank Centre's 2026 Meltdown Festival

Harry Styles has been confirmed as the curator of this summer’s Meltdown Festival - an annual multi-media programme of events held at London’s Southbank Centre, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2026.

Following in the footsteps of seminal past curators such as David Bowie, Yoko Ono, Patti Smith, Nile Rogers, and most recently Little Simz, Harry will oversee the Centre’s artistic offerings for the festival’s 11 day span, from 11th to 21st June.

His curatorship promises to draw on his vast array of influences - from his pop roots to the more electronic leanings of his hugely anticipated fourth album ‘KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY.’ - and will include a public programme of free and interactive events geared towards young people, as well as a headline gig from the man himself.

“My goal as the curator is to share the music and art that I love, and to celebrate the rich history of the venue,” Harry has said, discussing his plans for the festival. “We both share a passionate belief that music is a vital part of life. It brings us together and the Southbank Centre has been at the heart of it, providing easy access to great music for the past 75 years. I’m incredibly grateful to Southbank for having me, it’s really exciting for me to have this opportunity in such an iconic venue.”
