Sweden’s Hater share ‘Blushing’ from new EP ‘Red Blinders’
The first taste of the new release - out in December via Fire Records - is today’s Neu Pick.
Sweden is about to enter its famously harsh winter, but there’s none of that bitterness in ‘Blushing’, the new single from indie-poppers Hater - in fact, the track feels like it’s actively battling against the cold.
The first taster of a new EP called ‘Red Blinders’, out on 1st December via Fire Records, ‘Blushing’ is a gorgeous melting pot of indie-pop and acoustic lo-fi.
The track is one with an outside sheen of calm and contentment, but there’s an undeniable pain in Caroline Landahl’s gorgeous vocals.
The band will head to the UK at the end of next month for a trio of shows beginning with an in store show at London’s Rough Trade East on 29th November.
