Hear The Libertines debut ‘Barbarians’ in BBC Radio 1’s Maida Vale session
Track is set to appear on comeback album ‘Anthems for Doomed Youth’.
Last night (28th July), The Libertines played their first radio session in just over twelve years, with an appearance on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show.
Taking to Maida Vale studios, the newly-reformed group showcased songs from their comeback album ‘Anthems for Doomed Youth’, before wheeling off to Camden to play a secret gig. Playing three tracks, they started off with lead single ‘Gunga Din’ before debuting ‘Barbarians’ on air for the first time. They also took a step back in time to play ‘Don’t Look Back Into the Sun’.
The Maida Vale session kicks off from the 1 hour, 30 minute mark, with ‘Barbarians’ being given an airing from 1 hour, 37 minutes. Listen here.
