Last month Hinds released their most heroic track yet, the “winner song” ‘Chili Town’. Taken from their forthcoming debut album - due out via Lucky Number (Europe) and Mom + Pop (North America) - there’s now a suitably triumphant video to match.

Swanning around the deserted streets of - presumably - Chili Town, the band are too busy spitting crisps at the camera, swigging various alcoholic drinks, and heckling passing moped riders, to give any attention to heartbreak. Speaking about the meaning of ‘Chili Town,’ Hinds said ““While drinking sangria we realized that if our songs were battles, we’ll always end up being the injured soldier. Then we were like “fuck it dude, why are we always the weak one in our lyrics??? what’s wrong with us???” so yeaaaaahhh we made it! we wrote a winner song.”
