Honeyblood and Pulled Apart By Horses are playing Handmade Festival 2017

Frightened Rabbit, JAWS and more are joining them in Leicester.

The first acts have been announced for Leicester’s Handmade Festival next year.

Taking place at the city’s O2 Academy and Attenborough Arts Centre, Leeds rockers Pulled Apart By Horses will be playing tracks from their upcoming new album, while Honeyblood will be continuing to prove that ‘Babes Never Die.’

Scottish anthem-makers Twin Atlantic and Frightened Rabbit are also on the bill, with JAWS, British Sea Power and Muncie Girls also set to head to Leicester. Tigercub, Puppy and Idles help to round off the first wave of acts.

Festival co-organiser John Helps says that “It feels so good to finally get this announcement out into the world. Handmade has grown every year since we started it in 2013, but this feels like our biggest step to date as we move into the main room of O2 Academy Leicester, as well as the many other spaces around the Academy and Attenborough Arts Centre. We could not be more excited about the line-up, and this is just a flavour of what you can expect across the two days.”

Handmade Festival is taking place on 29th and 30th April 2017. Tickets are on sale now.
