Honeyblood, Kagoule To Play Neu’s Hello 2014

DIY’s new music resident Neu is taking up the reins of London’s Old Blue Last for four free gigs in January.

Starting on Tuesday 7th January, London’s Old Blue Last is hosting the inaugural Hello series in collaboration with Neu & Kanada. Four free entry gigs are spread out across the month, taking place every Tuesday.

DIY Class of 2014 alumni Wolf Alice, MT and Superfood played some of their very first shows at last year’s ‘Hello 2013’ residency. So if that’s any indication as to where this year’s acts are heading, January’s showcases aren’t ones to miss out on.

Heading up this year’s bill is Glasgow-based Fat Cat signings Honeyblood, who’ve just returned from recording their debut album with Peter Katis in Connecticut.

Also featuring in Hello 2014: Hate Hate Hate Records signings Kagoule and Polterghost; the brilliant Sun Machine - who’ve just one stunning debut track to their name - as well as Reading newcomers Sundara Karma.

Check back on Monday for the 21st & 28th bills - find out who’s playing first in the new DIY Weekly, out 6th January.

All the shows are free, kicking off from 7.30pm on the 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th January, with DIY DJs playing out until 12am.

RSVP on Facebook and have a listen to the bands set to make an appearance, below.
