Hop Along have revealed the second cut from their forthcoming second album in the form of ‘Powerful Man’.
The track follows the incendiary ‘Waitress’ as its calmer, more calculated counterpart, with Frances Quinlan’s vocals reigned in more than usual.
The band’s new album ‘Painted Shut’ is to be released via Saddle Creek on 5th May, and the band are set to preview it with a run of dates in support of The War On Drugs in the US, starting this week.
In a post on the band’s Tumblr page about ‘Powerful Man’, Quinlan says the track is “about a very important day in my life”.
Hop Along’s tour with The War On Drugs begins on 28th March in Norfolk, VA.
