Hozier announces self-titled debut album

Irish songwriter self-recorded a debut album in his attic. Fancy that.

Irish songwriter Hozier has announced the details for his debut album.

Self-titled, the first release comes out 22nd September via Rubyworks/ Island. Hozier co-produced it alongside Rob Kirwan, and it was recorded in County Wicklow in Hozier’s own attic, as well as Dublin’s Exchequer Studios.

The record involves ‘Take Me To Church’, Hozier’s 2013 breakthrough hit, as well as new single ‘Sedated’.

This weekend, Hozier plays two sets at Glastonbury 2014. He’s also set to play Latitude Festival (19th July) and a sold out show at London KOKO (17th September).
