Hozier performs ‘Someone New’ & ‘Work Song’ on Jimmy Kimmel
The singer songwriter performed the two cuts from his debut album earlier this week.
Earlier this week, Hozier appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform two tracks from his self-titled debut album.
Taking to the outdoor stage on the US late night television show, the singer songwriter ran through live renditions of both his current single ‘Someone New’ and previous offering ‘Work Song’.
His performance on the show comes ahead of his slots at the likes of Glastonbury, Longitude and T in the Park 2015, which all take place later this summer.
In more disappointing news, however, Hozier was recently forced to cancel a handful of shows due to illness.
The singer was originally scheduled to perform at London’s Forum earlier this week (3rd June), but has since rescheduled that show for 30th June. All tickets will remain valid for the new date.
Having now been advised to go on voice rest by his doctor - as he revealed through his Twitter account - his sets at both Germany’s Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park will also be affected.
Watch clips of both of his performances from Jimmy Kimmel Live below, and check out his Tweets about the cancellations beneath the players.
