Hudson Mohawke announces new album ‘Lantern’
The Scottish producer will follow up his 2009 album ‘Butter’ this June.
Almost six years after releasing his debut album ‘Butter’, Hudson Mohawke has announced plans for its follow-up.
The Scottish producer, who also acts as one half of duo TNGHT alongside Canadian Lunice, has confirmed that he’ll be releasing his new album ‘Lantern’ on 15th June.
Fresh from earning production credits on tracks from the likes of Kanye West, Azealia Banks, Drake and Pusha T, Mohawke is returning to his own project for the new fourteen-track record.
“This album is everything I’ve been working towards,” the producer commented in a press release. “I wanted to make a classic - at least for me and my friends. I never wanted to be any genre. I wanted to be my own thing. Everything.”
