Humour announce news of debut album ‘Learning Greek’ alongside new single ‘Plagiarist’
The Glasgow band will drop their long awaited album on 8th August.

Humour have announced the forthcoming release of their debut album, ‘Learning Greek’, arriving on 8th August via So Young Records. The news comes alongside the release of their first single from the record, ‘Plagiarist’, which is out now.
“‘Plagiarist’ is about being a lyricist and having run out of ideas and inspiration,” said vocalist Andreas Christoloudis on the track, which received its first play on Steve Lamacq’s show on BBC 6 Music last night.
“In the song, the character is under pressure to put words to music written by the band, and realises that he can’t even steal lines from his favourite books because he has already used them all,” he continued. “He fears being discovered as a fraud and being punished for it with death.”
Alongside the news of ‘Learning Greek’, the Glasgow band will be playing live shows across multiple venues in the UK, as well as appearing at some festivals this summer. You can find their full tour dates below.
