Iamsu! hasn’t heard Frank Ocean’s new album after all

Frank Ocean’s been hinting at his new album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ since… well, about this time last year - posting all manner of teasers online. It’s left a lot of fans clutching at any hint-shaped straw they can find.

Bay Area rapper and producer Iamsu! tweeted in the early hours of last night, saying that he’s heard the album, and that it’s “worth the wait!”

“He did not disappoint,” tweeted the musician, suggesting that he’s been involved as a guest, “thanks for letting me be apart of history bro!” Elsewhere, he was very liberal with the fire emoji, adding “damn frank ocean album blap!”

Meanwhile, Frank Ocean posted a library due date card for ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ yesterday on his website, stamped with the date July 2016. Now somebody’s claiming they’ve heard the thing, as well!

Is this actually happening? Will we get a new Frank Ocean record before this month is out? Is Frank just really bad at remembering to return library books? Only time will tell.

Update: Iamsu! has tweeted again, revealing that he was having us all on! “I fully lied about that Frank Ocean shit” he said. Ffs, man.
