IDLES share new track ‘Mercedes Marxist’
The Bristol band have shared their first new material since last year’s ‘Joy As An Act Of Resistance’.

Despite being in the middle of a rather hefty world tour, IDLES have shared a brand new track.
The Bristol quintet, who recently played a residency at London’s Electric Ballroom, have now offered up ‘Mercedes Marxist’, a track recorded during sessions for last year’s ‘Joy As An Act Of Resistance’.
A suitably raucous affair, it channels the similar adrenaline-driven spirit of their most recent album. The track’s also set to be released as a physical 7” on 2nd August, alongside another new track, ‘I Dream Gullioutine’.
Listen to ‘Mercedes Marxist’ below.
The band have also added a whole host more shows to their upcoming US tour. Those dates are as follows.
