Fresh from becoming DIY’s new cover stars along with Slaves, Bristol’s IDLES have announced a new pop-up art exhibition to celebrate the release of their new album ‘Joy As An Act Of Resistance’.

The band will set up shop at the HM Electrics Gallery in London on 30th and 31st August (the new album is released on the latter), displaying artwork from the deluxe edition of the album, along with work from selected artists including Orlando Weeks of The Maccabees.

All the artwork will be for sale at the exhibition, with all proceeds going to Samaritans.

IDLES released new song ‘Samaritans’ last week, a blistering attack on toxic masculinity. It featured in our round-up of the best tracks of the week.

The band have also announced a series of instore dates around the release of the album - view the dates and watch the band’s ‘Samaritans’ video below.
