It’s Halestorm vs The Wombats in the midweek charts
The bands are battling it out for the top spot.
The midweek chart update has been released - and it’s a battle between hard rockers Halestorm and FM friendly pop kids The Wombats for the top spot on Sunday’s countdown.
The bands are at #1 and #2 for ‘Into The Wild Life’ and ‘Glitterbug’ respectively, with Tyler, The Creator’s ‘Cherry Bomb’ at #10, Villagers’ ‘Darling Arithmetic’ at #20 and Gallows’ ‘Desolation Sounds’ at #52.
Over in the singles countdown, Wiz Khalifa looks set to topple Jess Glynne from the top spot with ‘See You Again’ (as featured on Hollywood blockbuster Fast & Furious 7), Robyn’s ‘Dancing on my Own’ re-enters the Top 100 at #29, and Mumford & Sons begin their aim towards the Top 20 with their newly-unveiled ‘The Wolf’ sitting at #45.
