Jacob Alon shares new live EP ‘the alon salon’

Ethereal Scottish folk singer Jacob Alon has offered up a brand new live EP, the incredibly-titled ‘the alon salon’. 

Their new five-track release features live performances of tracks from their recently-released debut album ‘In Limerence’, which was released earlier this year. The stripped-back performances were recorded alongside a live string section in Edinburgh venue, the Mash House. Check out the tracklisting for ‘the alon salon’ below.

Their new release lands just a few weeks after the 2025 Mercury Prize took place in Newcastle, for which their debut was shortlisted, and just a couple of days after they’ve been named the BBC Introducing Artist of the Year. Jacob will be rounding out 2025 with a handful of live shows including two support slots for Kae Tempest, before taking to the stage for three final headline performances.
