James Blake remix of Gorillaz’s ‘Feel Good Inc.’ emerges

Gorillaz track gets Harmonimix rework in Fabric mix.

James Blake’s Harmonimix alias has added another remix to its collection, with a version of Gorillaz’s ‘Feel Good Inc.’ popping up in a new FABRICLIVE mix. The newly aired mix by Rich Reason is available to stream in full below, with Reason noting that the remix is from “back in the day”.

Blake continues to produce as Harmonimix alongside working on album material and has aired versions of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘m.A.A.d City’ and Beyoncé’s ‘Drunk In Love’ and Outkast’s ‘Miss Jackson’ on his Radio 1 Residency this year. With Harmonimix leaning towards hip hop and R&B, previous remixes have included tracks by Lil Wayne, Destiny’s Child, Snoop Dogg and Blake’s 1-800 Dinosaur affiliate Trim.

This new track comes in a busy week for James Blake whose new single ‘200 Press’ was featured as Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record in the World’ yesterday ahead of release on the 1-800 Dinosaur imprint on December 8th. Blake has also confirmed that his upcoming third album is “70% finished” and suggested that it should arrive in Spring 2015.
